Description
KRYTAC Trident MK3 SPR-M is an AR15 variant equipped with a 16 inch (406 mm) barrel. The rifle features a 13 inch free float TR413 M-LOK handguard made of aluminum. The TR413 provides a lightweight and modular platform that allows mounting various accessories using the modern M-LOK standard. The RIS rail on top of the receiver continues over the handguard almost all the way to the muzzle, enabling the installation of different optics and accessories along the full length using common RIS mounting.
The upper and lower receivers are cast from reinforced aluminum and are compatible with many M4 AEG style accessories and third party upgrade parts. The KRYTAC receiver differs from traditional M4 AEG receivers with structural reinforcements for improved durability and design changes that enhance ease of use. The trigger guard is enlarged and the magwell is flared, enabling faster reloads. When holding the rifle in a firing position, it becomes quickly apparent that KRYTAC’s design choices and small modifications compared to the traditional M4 pattern improve ergonomics and create an extremely solid structure.
The KRYTAC Trident MK3 SPR-M is equipped with an ambidextrous fire selector on both sides of the receiver, allowing smooth operation for both right and left handed users. This feature benefits more than just left handed players, as ambidextrous controls are crucial when operating in tight and complex indoor environments.
The gearbox is built around KRYTAC’s strong Nautilus V2 gearbox, further improved in the MK3 generation for increased reliability and Gate Titan readiness. Inside you will find a ported full metal rack piston, CNC steel gears, a shock absorbing cylinder head and a high torque Bonded Neo motor. At the rear of the gearbox is an easy to use quick change spring system.
The electronics in the MK3 version bring the most significant upgrades. The integrated MOSFET and micro switch based electronic trigger offer features such as active braking, battery voltage detection, gear protection and a sleep mode. This makes the trigger response faster and increases reliability during long game days. The rifle also includes an improved rotary hop-up unit that distributes pressure more evenly and improves accuracy.
Why are KRYTAC guns so exceptional?
KRYTAC emphasizes that their products are built to deliver an outstanding user experience. Many factors contribute to this, but the most important is simple: the gun must operate flawlessly from the start of the game to the end, regardless of weather conditions. If this fails, the average player cannot enjoy the potential benefits of advanced electronics if the most essential part, playing airsoft, cannot be done.
In our experience, KRYTAC meets this promise exceptionally well. The excellence of KRYTAC airsoft guns is not based on stacking electronic features, but on extreme quality and reliability. The internal mechanics rely on proven solutions, excellent material choices and careful assembly. The rigidity and strength of the receivers reflect the brand’s roots in KRISS USA’s firearms division. These firearm influenced design principles combined with KRYTAC’s internal engineering create a highly dependable choice for players who want a gun that simply works.
NOTE: Battery and charger sold separately.
Compatible battery
KRYTAC AEGs are designed to handle high performance batteries. The rifle is compatible with 7.4 V and 11.1 V LiPo and Lithium-Ion batteries. The manufacturer recommends using an 11.1 V LiPo or Lithium-Ion battery to achieve the best response and most consistent rate of fire.
